To enhance safety and ensure strict compliance standards, we are updating our Auto Resolve feature. Moving forward, this feature will support a maximum of three non-compliant temperature readings to ensure that each incident receives the necessary manual review and resolution. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and appreciate your understanding as we make these improvements.

This change will be deployed week commencing 24th March 2025.

Overview of the Change and how it may impact you

Currently, there is no limit on the number of non-compliant temperatures that can be configured for auto-resolution. Our Environmental Health Consultants have advised that each non-compliant temperature should be handled as a unique incident that requires manual intervention. To address this, the updated feature will now limit the auto-resolution to a maximum of three non-compliant temperatures. For existing customers who have configured a value higher than three, their setting will be automatically adjusted to three as part of this release.

Additionally, a new tooltip will be added to the feature for clarity (seen below):

"This setting automatically resolves up to 3 consecutive non-compliant appliance temperatures, after a compliant reading is received. Disabled if set to '0' or left blank. Changes may take up to 2 hours to apply.

Note: Auto resolve should not replace appropriate corrective actions, as it is meant for temporary fluctuations in temperature (e.g. restocking) rather than persistent temperature issues. Improper use may result in unresolved compliance risks, so enable with caution."
