HQ Manager Products Menu CSV Import

This article will show HQ managers how to update their Product menu in bulk via CSV export and import.

Locating the products menu

When logged in, you’ll be greeted by your HQ Manager dashboard:

In order to access the products menu, you will need to click settings. ‘’Products menu’’ will appear in the drop down list:


Downloading the CSV Template

Toward the top of the products menu screen you will see a few buttons for different options on adding menu items. You will need to click ‘’Upload CSV’’ in order to obtain the CSV Template and download it.

A small window will be displayed for the option to import the products menu, click ‘’Download sample’’:

Completing the CSV Template

The CSV will be downloaded to your preferred saved area for downloads, a notification is usually displayed in chrome when the download has been saved to your PC/Laptop.

Once opened, it will be displayed as such:

You will now need to copy the information from the client and input the data as such:

The spreadsheet is case sensitive and you must ensure the following :

- All spelling errors are to be corrected.

- Suppliers must be implemented beforehand.

- There should be no spaces between service types e.g - Goods in,Chilling,Cooking.

- The correct brand/s must be inputted.

- If data is not required within a table this must be marked as 0..

Importing the CSV Template

Now you’re ready for the system to take care of the rest. Click on ‘’Upload CSV’’ on the products menu and press ‘’Choose File’’. You’ll be prompted to select the CSV you completed:

Once selected, It will appear as the chosen file to be uploaded to the products menu:

Once the file has downloaded, you will see a notification at the top of the screen and also in green towards the right:

You may need to refresh the screen to see the newly imported products and folders.
