It is now possible to increase the time between the two step (Chilling) service start/finish readings which you may be using for blast chilling. Previously this was hard set to 90 minutes and this continues to be the case if you have the default Chilling service in place. If you want to change the time from 90 minutes (up to 240 minutes), you can do the following.
If you already have a custom Chilling service, you can go to Smartprobes > Services and edit the service as below (when logged in as a Site Manager or HQ manager if you have multiple sites using this service).
You will then see the new custom time frame field to which you can add a time up to 240 minutes and update:
IMPORTANT: You must do a Data Update in your Probe settings once these changes have been made.
Creating a new Two Step service for custom time frame
If you only have the default Chilling service you won't be able to edit the time frame, so create a new service by going to Smartprobes > Service in your menu (when logged in as site manager or HQ manager if multiple sites need to use this service).
1. Click Create in the top right
2. Give it a name and select Two Step Service - it's important the name is different from your default "Chilling" service for reporting reasons, so in this case the example is "Chilling 120" to indicate the new time.
3. You will now see the Time Frame field - enter a time in minutes up to 240
4. Add your temperature rule (which is typically 0-8C)
5. Enter any corrective actions:
6. Click Submit at the bottom of the page
You can now link your Product Menu items to this new service. Please find video guides on the menu editing processes here - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMCBnR8734fTDYn70nLgIkR8J3roVzTwI
You must do a Data Update in your Probe settings once these changes have been made.
