This update allows users to configure additional alerts for successive failures related to the following Smart Pod triggers:

  • Non-Compliant Appliance Temperature

  • Offline Smart Pod Device

This feature is available to DFS Site Managers, Brand Managers, and HQ Managers. It replaces the previous method of manually creating multiple offline notifications, enabling users to set up a single option that sends multiple configured triggers.

Previously, if a notification was configured to send an email after the pod had been offline for 1 hour, it would only send a single email. Now, you can configure it to send up to 10 additional emails in sequence if the pod remains offline.

How to Set Up New Notifications

  1. Log in to DFS.

  2. Navigate to Notifications:

    • Click on Notifications.

  3. Create a New Trigger:

    • Click on Create to configure a new trigger.

  4. Configure the New Notification:

    • Enter a name for the notification.

    • Select the trigger type (either Offline Smart Pod or Non-Compliant Temperature Pod).

    • Choose the site.

    • Check the Continuous Notification box.

  5. Set the Number of Continuous Notifications:

    • Specify how many continuous notifications you want to receive. For example, selecting 3 will send 3 additional emails about the offline device.

  6. Customize the Email Content:

    • Edit the content of the notification email and select the recipients.

  7. Add Recipients:

    • To add an email address, click the + icon and enter the address.

  8. Submit the Configuration:

    • After reviewing, scroll down and click Submit.

How to Update Existing Triggers

  1. Access Notifications:

    • Click on Notifications and then View.

  2. Update Existing Notifications:

    • Select the notification you wish to update.

    • Click on More and then Update.

  3. Modify Settings:

    • Change the settings as needed and click Submit.

Note: If the Continuous Notifications box is checked, specify the total number of continuous notifications you want to send out. If the box is unchecked, any number entered will be ignored.
